Day to day responsibilities
- Origination of the Communications Plan: The creation of channel plans that build from the core media idea and demonstrate expert planning skills.
- Client relationship management: the principal client contact for the whole planning process.
- Leverage strong relationships & influence clients and media owners at all levels.
- Strategically deliver insightful media strategies for your client, in conjunction with the strategy team when appropriate.
- Identify strategic creative and innovative media initiatives that are born out of the strategic media direction and lead their implementation.
- Working alongside Strategy and Investment teams to ensure best possible product gets to market
- Ensure all media goals and strategies are achievable and executable within budgets using support of the Investment team.
- Own the planning process across all media, including digital. This will include making sure digital adheres to Source principles
About you
- Product Leadership:
Collaborate nationally on media products with standardized methodologies, marketing collateral, and training - Team Management:
Recruit, develop, and lead a team of Account Directors, Managers, Executives, and Assistants. - Client & Vendor Engagement:
Build strong relationships with clients, media vendors, and third-party planners to ensure satisfaction and seamless delivery. - Business Development:
Drive growth with new and existing clients, working closely with Business Management to meet objectives. - Operational Excellence:
Oversee media implementation, negotiations, bookings, invoicing, and reporting to maintain quality and efficiency. - Strategic Thinking & Innovation:
Stay updated on industry trends, challenge conventions, and drive innovative media solutions. - Communication & Influence:
Clearly convey information, influence key stakeholders, and manage relationships across all levels. - Adaptability & Problem Solving:
Demonstrate resilience, multitasking, strong numerical accuracy, and analytical skills to meet diverse project demands.
