We're seeking a visionary leader who can champion consumer-led planning strategies that unlock Nike's full potential across Revenue, Margin, Inventory, and Profitability. This role will empower Nike Direct Store Planners to deliver strategic growth across sport focus areas, ensuring channel plans are aligned to maximize consumer demand and marketplace impact. The successful candidate will bring elevated stakeholder engagement, sharp commercial acumen, and a passion for performance.
- 10+ years of experience in Planning, Merchandising and Retail/Sales, and closely related fields with a bachelor's degree in business administration or related fields.
- Deep understanding of consumer, product, and marketplace dynamics.
- Proven experience in leading and developing high-performing teams.
- Mastery of retail metrics and planning methodologies (stock & sales planning, gross to net, shipment, and liquidation).
- Strategic financial decision-making through an enterprise-wide lens.
- Ability to shape and align mid-to-long term growth strategies with cross-functional leaders.
- Inspirational leadership to navigate complexity and deliver results with optimism.
- Exceptional communication skills with a talent for storytelling and clarity.
WHAT YOU'LL WORK ON
As Senior Director, Planning, Pacific, you will lead monthly, seasonal, and annual planning across NSP, NVS, and NSO channels, driving execution to achieve revenue, margin, market share, and inventory goals.
- Develop and achieve Sport retail sales and revenue plans through strategic Business Planning and lead monthly and seasonal forecasting with a focus on driving actionable risks and opportunities.
- Optimize store capacity in NSO and NVS, and balance NVS productivity through rebuy and close-out decisions in partnership with EBP, Inventory Ops, and Marketplace teams to maintain inventory health.
- Influence external NSP partners to drive consumer-right investments and agile in-season trading, while maintaining optimal store assortments and delivering on sales, revenue and wholesale levers including RTV and CXL.
- Implement global and geo planning capabilities to optimize revenue through Stock & Sales Planning, Open-to-Buy (OTB), Allocations, and Pricing & Promotions.
- Build comprehensive consumer-right assortment depth and breadth in NSO/NVS with strong x-functional integration to ensure optimal seasonal investment at the SKU level, aligning with consumer demand and marketplace dynamics.
- Inspire collaboration and drive decisive action across teams, ensuring alignment and execution against seasonal and strategic priorities.
- Cultivate a high-performance culture of accountability, continuous learning, and development within the Nike Direct Store (NDS) team and the broader planning organization.
