Are you an experienced office manager with a passion for organisation and leadership?
BTL is seeking a highly organised individual to manage the day-to-day operations of our firm. This is a key role at the heart of our practice, providing leadership across administration, HR coordination, facilities, IT and supporting a high-performing legal team.
Key Responsibilities
As Office Manager, you will oversee the smooth running of the firm's operations and provide essential support to both legal and administrative staff. Your role will include:
- Managing office procedures and ensuring operational efficiency.
- Supervising administrative support staff.
- Coordinating recruitment, onboarding, and HR processes.
- Overseeing office budgets, supplier contracts, and invoicing.
- Ensuring compliance with legal and professional standards.
- Liaising with IT providers, building management, and external vendors.
- Supporting Directors with reporting and project coordination.
- Support firm-wide initiatives, events, and special projects.
- Build and maintain strong, professional relationships with colleagues, clients, and vendors.
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with care and integrity.
About You
To thrive in this role, you will bring:
- Demonstrated experience in an office manager or practice manager role (legal industry experience preferred, but not essential).
- Strong organisational and leadership skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe and cloud-based software; and familiarity with legal practice management software. Practice Evolve – desirable).
- Ability to manage competing priorities and maintain confidentiality
- Ability to work electronically across our paperless systems.
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities under pressure.
- A proactive, hands-on approach and a keen eye for process improvement.
