Due to business growth, we have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Estimator to join our team in Tingalpa.

You will report directly to the General Manager and play a crucial role where you will own the estimating process from reviewing tender documents through to final submission for projects across SEQ and FNQ.

About the role:

  • Prepare cost estimates
  • Project Takeoffs
  • Budget and Cost Control
  • Bid Preparation and Analysis
  • Risk Management and Cost Optimization
  • Project Post-Bid and Reporting
  • Maintain Estimating Database
  • Build relationships with key stakeholders including subcontractors, suppliers and consultants
  • Work closely with operations and delivery teams to develop smart pricing strategies

About You

  • Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management advantageous or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience as a civil estimator in civil construction or infrastructure projects
  • Strong experience with estimating software advantageous
  • Experience with local market pricing
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
  • Be a confident communicator with clients and stakeholders with strong interpersonal skills
  • Strong organisational skills and an ability to manage multiple priorities and your time effectively
