The Opportunity

We're seeking a Director of Project Services to lead, expand, and grow Informatech's Project Services vertical — encompassing project management, PMO, and program delivery capability.

This role combines strategic leadership with hands-on business development. You'll be responsible for setting and achieving ambitious sales and growth targets, driving new client acquisition, and expanding Informatech's footprint across the Defence and Federal Government landscape.

You'll bring both strategic foresight and commercial execution — capable of shaping a long-term practice while maintaining direct accountability for pipeline, relationships, and results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and deliver the strategic roadmap for Project Services aligned to Informatech's growth targets and market priorities.
  • Sales Growth & Business Development:

  • Define, track, and achieve sales, revenue, and gross profit targets for the vertical.

  • Actively pursue new business opportunities across Defence and Federal Government.
  • Leverage your existing network of program directors, CIOG contacts, PMO leaders, and procurement professionals to accelerate entry into key accounts.
  • Lead and contribute to tenders, RFQs, and proposals with high-quality, commercially competitive submissions.
  • Client Engagement: Act as senior account lead, ensuring exceptional client satisfaction, repeat business, and long-term relationships.
  • Recruitment & Resourcing: Operate in a 360-degree capacity — from client engagement to candidate sourcing and placement — ensuring delivery excellence.
  • Performance & Reporting:

  • Set, monitor, and report on vertical-level KPIs across revenue, utilisation, and GPM.

  • Provide market insights and strategic updates to the CEO and executive team.
  • Team Leadership: Build and mentor a high-performing team, fostering a culture of collaboration, commercial discipline, and accountability.

About You

You're a commercially driven leader with deep understanding of ICT project delivery environments and a proven record of growing business units and achieving sales targets. You bring credibility, networks, and energy to drive Informatech's continued expansion.

You will bring:

  • 10+ years' experience in ICT project, program, or PMO delivery across Defence or Federal Government.
  • A demonstrable track record in business development and sales growth, ideally within professional services or ICT consulting.
  • Established relationships and networks across Federal Government and Defence, particularly within program delivery, CIOG, or acquisition domains.
  • Strong understanding of recruitment and resourcing in project services environments.
  • Excellent commercial acumen, communication, and influencing skills.
  • A proactive, outcome-oriented mindset suited to a dynamic, growth-focused SME.
