About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Qualified Accountant to join our growing team in Brendale. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring compliance, and delivering accurate financial reporting to support informed decision-making. You'll work closely with management, providing insights that drive scalability, efficiency, and long-term profitability.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Preparation and lodgement of company and individual taxation returns.
  • Assist with budgeting and financial forecasting
  • Provide reliable financial oversight, ensuring compliance and reporting that enable sustainable growth and profitability.
  • Working with external auditors and advisors
  • Manage cashflow, forecasting, accounts receivable/payable, and payroll processes
  • Deliver timely and accurate end-of-month (EOM) and end-of-financial-month (EFM) reports.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, contributing to meetings and strategic objectives.
  • Implement and optimise financial controls and procedures.
  • Contributing to process improvements and systems integration

About You

  • CPA/CA qualified (or working towards)
  • Prior accounting experience will be highly regarded
  • Strong knowledge of Australian accounting standards, tax legislation, and compliance requirements
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Confident communicator and team player
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport across teams and with clients
  • Proficient in accounting systems and cloud-based tools
