The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Accountant to join the team on a temporary or fixed-term basis, with the potential to become permanent. Reporting to the CFO, you'll play a key role in supporting the Group's manufacturing and corporate operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance while helping to streamline and optimise accounting processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage daily transactions including receipts and invoices
  • Oversee debtor and creditor management
  • Perform bank and credit card reconciliations
  • Prepare month-end payments, reconciliations, and reports
  • Maintain general ledger and complete account reconciliations
  • Prepare Balance Sheet and Profit & Loss statements
  • Coordinate annual compliance and statutory reporting
  • Manage end-to-end fortnightly payroll (timesheets, leave, payroll tax, superannuation)
  • Provide ad hoc financial support to the CFO and wider finance team

About You

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance
  • CPA qualified
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a commercial accounting role
  • Background in manufacturing or corporate environments preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and proficiency with accounting systems
  • Immediate availability highly regarded
  • Work is based onsite at Acacia Ridge
