About This Opportunity

We're seeking remote Casual Typists to support our busy medical imaging practices with accurate and timely transcription of radiology reports. As a medical typist you will support our Radiologists by typing medical reports by audio transcription. You will need a typing speed of at least 80wpm and have superior accuracy along with a strong understanding of Medical and Radiology terminology. This is a casual role.

About You

To be successful in your application you need to demonstrate the following:

  • Experience typing from audio transcription e.g. Dictaphone.
  • Extensive Radiology typing or medical typing experience with highly developed knowledge of medical terminology across a number of modalities.
  • Advanced computer literacy with proven touch-typing accuracy.
  • Exceptional command of the English language with accurate spelling, grammar, and punctuation.
  • High attention to detail
  • Focused, efficient, and dedicated working attitude
  • Well-developed communication and listening skills.
  • Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to Confidentiality is critical to this role.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritise workload, meet deadlines and complete activities either individually or as part of a team.
