Radiology Typist

IRIS Imaging has ben operating for 15 years across south east Queensland. We offer comprehensive quality assured practices with services including CT, Mammography, BMD, general X-Ray and Ultrasound.

**ABOUT THE ROLE**

IRIS Imaging is seeking a **Medical Typist** to join our typing team. To be successful in this role, you will need to have accuracy and speed with a strong understanding of Medical and Radiology, to support our Radiologist, whilst also providing the highest standard of reporting service to our patients and referrers.
- Typing of medical reports by audio transcription
- Fast and accurate medical audio typing

**ABOUT YOU**
- Extensive medical or radiology experience is desirable.
- Significant experience as a medical typist across a broad range of modalities
- Highly developed knowledge of medical terminology across several modalities
- High degree of computer literacy with proven touch typing and accuracy.
- Exceptional command of the English language with accurate spelling, grammar and punctuation
- Clear and concise communication both spoken and written.
- A good ear for audio including the ability to transcribe files with poor audio quality.
