Score Group have an extremely exciting opportunity for a Workshop Team Leader who shares their passion and drive for excellence and success.

About the role

The Workshop Team Leader will be responsible for planning and execution of work schedules and supervising all aspects of valve repairs and maintenance in accordance with company, HSE and Quality standards.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor a diverse team including valve technicians, trade assistants, apprentices, and support personnel.
  • Plan, coordinate, and supervise workshop, ensuring timely and quality delivery.
  • Liaise with external and internal stakeholders
  • Ensure compliance with relevant Quality Management Systems
  • Implementation of workshop maintenance and safety schedules
  • Training and development of personnel inclusive of Apprentices.
  • Maintaining and installing a high level of HSE compliance

Experience

  • Minimum five years' experience as a qualified technician or mechanical fitter with strong knowledge of valve and operator overhauls
  • Minimum two years' supervisory experience in a similar role or industry (preferred)

Knowledge and Skills

  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to influence and motivate others
  • Ability to problem solve
  • Strong understanding of industry specifications and technical drawings.
  • Be able to plan scheduled workload to meet client deliverables
  • Proficiency with high-pressure testing and precision measuring equipment.
  • Excellent communication skills and computer literacy.
  • Commitment to safety, quality, and achieving company goals.
