About The Role
As an Operations Program Analyst in the School Digital Services branch of the Information Management and Technology Division (IMTD), you will provide critical support to assist with the delivery of ICT programs in schools. Also, you'll provide analytical support driven by data, manage data and reporting systems, assist with regular reporting, and work closely with internal and external stakeholders to deliver tangible outcomes.

  • Maintains accuracy in data entry, reporting, and documentation
  • Finance reconciliation and administration including Budget administration, spend tracking and variance analysis and journalling and reporting
  • Ensures program records and tracking systems are up to date and error-free
  • Takes ownership of tasks and delivers high-quality outcomes with minimal supervision
  • Actively seeks ways to improve processes and resolve issues
  • Works effectively with colleagues, stakeholders, and service providers

Desirable Qualifications And Experience

  • Intermediate to Advanced Excel
  • Ability to build dashboards for various reporting types
  • Data and reporting management
  • Department's understanding of financial systems and processes
  • Experience in government or education sectors and a relevant qualification.

The 10-Year Digital Horizon is a strategic plan to provide more technology and digital services to schools. School Digital Services consult with schools and internal groups including Schools and Regional Services (SRS) and School Education Programs and Support (SEPS) on strategic direction to form new initiatives as well as oversee program delivery and delivery of IT services for major initiatives. Our purpose:

  • consult with schools and key department stakeholders on strategic direction and formulating new initiatives
  • ensure schools have the appropriate technology environment to maintain a modern, world class education system
  • oversee major government funded technology initiatives in schools.
  • manage department provided systems to schools.
