The Role:

  • Operate our vacuum excavator trucks & units to complete jobs (80% labouring, 20% truck driving)
  • Assist customers where possible
  • Understanding & completion of basic paperwork (JSEA's, pre-starts, work dockets, timesheets etc.)
  • Routine vehicle maintenance & cleaning
  • Assist with ensuring our company services are delivered in a safe and efficient manner
  • Support other team members in solving problems and completing tasks
  • At times work outside of Canberra
  • Do on call/rostered work at night and on weekends when required

What you need to Succeed:

  • Experience as a vacuum excavator operator, not essential.
  • Be physically fit (job involves hard physical work)
  • Excellent organisation skills
  • The ability to prioritise tasks
  • Time management skills (punctual & reliable)
  • Understanding & completion of basic paperwork (JSEA's, pre-starts, work dockets, timesheets etc.)
  • The ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • A passion for customer service
  • Excellent communication & language skills (phone manner etc)
  • Initiative to get jobs done and assist in solving problems that may arise

We also have the ability to supply backfill material and reinstate utilizing tipper trucks.
