Allied, is a leading global provider of removals and relocation solutions, with services in more than 40 countries and approximately 5000 employees. The Company has an extensive network of agents and other service providers and conducts more than 365,000 relocations/removals per year.

The Allied Moving Services branch in Hume, Canberra are seeking Owner drivers to support their location. Required skills include a full 360 understanding of household goods - packing, unpacking, loading & documentation. International household experience is highly desirable.

What skills are we looking for?

  • Ability to drive MR or above licence class is desired - If required, drive to and from the onsite location as per daily run sheet & carry out the requirements of the removal plan
  • Owner Driver must have own offsider
  • Have their own body truck with container pins and ability to tow a company supplied dog trailer if required
  • The ability to lift 20kg items independently
  • The ability to lift heavy, awkward items

  • Experienced and competent in household removals including;

  • Packing & wrapping

  • Loading & unloading
  • Documentation skills
  • International packing and wrapping skills would be advantageous.
