At Pups4Fun, we believe dogs live their best life when cared for by a strong, supportive team. That's where our Canine Captains come in.
This is a working leadership role – you'll still be hands-on with the dogs, but you'll also be guiding and supporting our Canine Crew, ensuring smooth daily operations, and leading with confidence, calm, and care.
What You'll Do- Supervise, guide, and motivate the Canine Crew throughout the day.
- Coordinate our logistics including outings, dog activities and training, and client services.
- Provide on-the-job coaching and support staff development.
- Ensure equipment and safety standards are maintained.
- Step up during emergencies with calm leadership.
- Communicate with clients and supervisors to keep everything running smoothly.
- Teach dog training classes (with training) to build skills and develop owners.
Essential
- Demonstrated leadership and team supervision skills (from any industry).
- Strong communication, organisation, and problem-solving ability.
- Physically capable and adaptable in a dynamic workplace.
- Manual driver's licence and WWVP card (or willing to obtain).
Desirable (but not required)
- Dog handling or animal care experience.
- Pet First Aid or Certificate III in Animal Care (or willingness to complete).
