The Digital Reimagination (DRI) Program is focused on developing a set of guiding principles in relation to technology to develop and implement a reimagined enterprise technology platform to meet school and diocesan office requirements. Payroll Functional Consultant will contribute to the design and configuration of all payroll software solutions within the DRI Program. The role supports bringing MACS's vision and strategy to life by applying deep payroll best practice knowledge and addressing operational needs, converting them into product and/or project requirements. The role will collaborate closely with the Payroll and HCM project delivery teams, various stakeholders and the change and communication teams.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Leverage domain expertise to analyse the proposed ERP and payroll solution, identifying gaps and rationalisation opportunities and facilitate the approval of key business decisions with key stakeholders.
- Define requirements, processes, and analyse metrics that inform the success of the payroll stream.
- Manage the definition of specific finance related process lifecycle from concept to launch, which includes influencing To-Be Processes, prioritising business requirements, providing domain expertise and leadership to vendor build, quality assurance and end user acceptance testing.
- Develop a good understanding of the current enterprise payroll landscape and the associated challenges
- Ensure process documentation is accurate and ready to support product launches
- Use tools and techniques, including continuous discovery, to identify areas for improvement, lead research and plan for product enhancements and innovation
- Work closely with the design and delivery teams to translate requirements into technical specifications and ensure timely delivery of high-quality products.
ABOUT YOU
- Extensive experience as a payroll specialist with expert understanding of payroll processes, compliance requirements, and industry standards.
- Experience with ERP implementation (specifically Payroll and HCM transformation programs)
- Proficiency in SAP SuccessFactors or Oracle Fusion
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate with teams and stakeholders.
