Our client is seeking an experienced, skilled, Civil Engineering Technician that

can hit the ground running, successfully scoping out works, planning and

completing design assignments within agreed budgets and deadlines. You'll be

responsible for not only liaising with clients, architects, consultants &

subcontractors, but reviewing engineering drawings, resolving construction

queries and assisting the entire process through to completion. Consistency

and reliability is key. Have you got what it takes?

Responsibilities will include:

Scoping sites, scheduling of site works, managing, coordinating and

assisting the Lead engineer in estimating project costs including

construction materials, plant, and equipment for site activities.

Prepare redlines and tabulations.

Direct and assist in work on the job site.

Validations, Collecting and analysing data and carrying out computations.

Testing and inspecting construction material.

Site coordination to comply with OHS standards.

Asset locating prior to civil works.

Pipe proving and Cable Hauling.

All civils including pit & pipe, reinstatement, lead in remediations and new

builds.

Ensure adherence to all health and safety standards and report issues.

Review and advise on optimisation procedures responsible for the

improvement of Quality Assurance, Workplace Health & Safety,

regulations and general eciency of on-site construction activities,

minimising risk, whilst promoting safety.

Analysis of data, charts, tabulations and strong ability to preform

calculations on the fly.

Applicants must have:

A relevant Australian Diploma plus

2-3 years of highly relevant Australian experience.
