With our client portfolio continuing to expand, we're looking for a personable and adaptable Building Supervisor to join our team full-time, covering the Toowoomba/Darling Downs region. Ideally, you'll bring experience in insurance repairs and share our commitment to delivering outstanding service and workmanship.

ABOUT THE ROLE

You will be responsible for a variety of tasks including:

  • Project managing repairs
  • Schedule and manage trades
  • Liaise with Repair Coordinator
  • Attend Emergency Make Sake / Escape of Liquids claims
  • Carry out assessments/reports and provide scopes (as required)
  • Adhering to client and internal KPI's
  • Developing excellent professional relationships with clients
  • Provide a high level of customer service, communication and computer skills
  • Includes attractive starting salary, vehicle, fuel card, laptop, phone and uniform

ABOUT YOU

  • Proven experience in site supervision, ideally within residential or commercial construction
  • Solid trade background with hands-on industry knowledge
  • Prior exposure to insurance repair work is highly regarded (however, training will be provided)
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, standards, and compliance
  • Confident in report writing and documentation
  • Skilled in preparing accurate, costed scopes of work
  • Experience in make-safe and restoration works is an advantage
  • Exceptional time management and organisational abilities
  • Clear, professional communication style with strong conflict resolution skills
  • Collaborative mindset with a flexible approach to meeting team and client KPIs

REQUIREMENTS

  • A current QBCC Building Supervisor licence or Builder's licence
  • At least five years of building experience
  • Proven ability to schedule and supervise trades and repairs (insurance-related experience is a bonus, but not essential)
  • Solid working knowledge of QBCC Standards and Tolerances, Australian Standards, and WH&S regulations
  • Clear and confident communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong computer literacy, including experience with repair management systems and the Microsoft Office suite (Prime Ecosystems experience highly regarded)
  • Skilled in creating, reading, and interpreting scopes of work with accuracy
  • Exceptional organisational and time management abilities
  • High attention to detail and a commitment to delivering top-quality finishes through your trade team
  • A proactive, solutions-focused mindset and a collaborative approach to working within a high-performing team
  • A strong and consistent commitment to safety in all aspects of the role
