Job Summary: As the Human Resources and Recruitment Advisor, you will play a pivotal role in undertaking, improving and driving our people and culture initiatives among our employees, as well as providing HR and recruitment support to our team. You will be responsible for developing and implementing HR programs and policies, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and assisting with all HR functions such as recruitment, employee relations, and performance management. There will be a requirement for occasional, as required site-based travel within WA.

Ideally you will have experience working in a medium sized business (100+ employees) and whilst being an integral team member you will be relatively autonomous, comfortable working with all levels of employees and management and interested in growing and developing with the team and culture.

Key Responsibilities:

Human Resources:

  • Day-today HR activities including assisting with recruitment, performance management, onboarding.
  • Advising on the administration of policies and procedures, including developing, revising, and implementing new documents.
  • Provide guidance and support in employee relations matters.
  • Coordinate performance appraisal processes and assist with employee development.
  • Manage HR records, including employee files and documentation.
  • Participate in HR strategic planning.
  • Ensure effective reporting of all HR functions.
  • Being a point of contact for all HR-related enquiries.

Qualifications:

  • Formal qualifications in HR
  • Proven experience in HR and recruitment, ideally 1 – 2 years.
  • Knowledge of relevant HR regulations and best practices.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
