About the Role
The Asset Strategy and Planning Coordinator plays a key role in shaping the long-term sustainability and performance of the Office's asset portfolio. Reporting to the Manager, Asset Strategy and Planning, this position is responsible for preparing strategic investment programs and supporting the development and implementation of high-quality asset management plans and policies. The role works collaboratively across the Office and with external stakeholders to ensure assets are fit for purpose and aligned with organisational priorities. A critical aspect of the role is ensuring that asset strategy and planning effectively guide maintenance, renewals, and upgrades, and align with key strategic frameworks, including the Office's Asset Management Framework.
Responsibilities
- Prepare strategic investment programs.
- Support the development and implementation of high-quality asset management plans and policies.
- Collaborate across the Office and with external stakeholders.
- Ensure assets are fit for purpose and aligned with organisational priorities.
- Guide maintenance, renewals, and upgrades.
- Align with key strategic frameworks, including the Office's Asset Management Framework.
Qualifications
- Relevant qualifications in engineering, finance, information management, or business administration are highly desirable.
Required Skills
- Experience in asset management, asset strategy, asset maintenance planning and asset investment planning and whole-of-government compliance requirements.
- Demonstrated project management experience.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in strategic asset management, managing assets and planning investments, ideally with a background in engineering, finance, or business.
- Understanding of government rules and ability to work well with others.
- Commitment to ensuring spaces are useful and welcoming for everyone.
Pay range and compensation package
Clerk Grade 9/10 salary - ranging from $129, ,665 + super & leave loading.
