Bellingen Community Preschool is a community-based not for profit preschool offering Early Childhood Education and Care to children and families of the Bellingen Shire, on beautiful Gumbaynggirr Country. We are seeking to recruit a Diploma or Certificate Trained educator to join our vibrant educator team on a Permanent Part Time basis. 5 days per week.

We are also seeking a consistent Casual Diploma or Certificate Trained Educators. Regular and ongoing work is possible for the right candidate.

Essential Criteria

·       Must hold a Diploma or Cert 3 in Early Childhood Education and Care.

·       Current Approved Working with Children Check.

·       Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis Certificate/s (ACECQA Approved).

·       Child Protection CHCPRT025 Identify and report children and young people at risk.

·       Understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (ELYF), National Quality Standards (NQS) and ECA Code of Ethics in practice.

·       A warm, supportive and professional disposition with a genuine focus on sustaining authentic, respectful connections with children, families, colleagues, and our community.

·       The ability to meaningfully document and plan for children's learning in collaboration with fellow educators. You will need to be computer literate for this role.

·       Dedication to ongoing professional learning, critical reflection and high-quality education.
