With continued international growth and an expanding product portfolio, the business is seeking a
General Counsel & Company Secretary
to lead its global legal, risk, and governance function.

Reporting to the CEO and working closely with the Executive Leadership Team and Board, this is a hands-on and strategic role, covering a diverse portfolio across commercial, corporate, IP, compliance, and governance.

You will provide trusted legal guidance to a passionate leadership team and play a pivotal role in shaping the next phase of international expansion.

Day to day, you will be:

  • Advising the CEO, Executive Team, and Board on commercial, regulatory, and governance matters across multiple regions.
  • Leading company secretarial duties — preparing Board papers, maintaining statutory registers, and uplifting governance frameworks across the group.
  • Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a wide range of commercial agreements, and overseeing intellectual property protection and enforcement.
  • Supporting strategic projects such as acquisitions, risk management, and ESG initiatives.
  • Partnering with external legal advisers as needed, while managing the legal budget and ensuring the function runs efficiently.

This role will suit a senior lawyer with a minimum 10 years PQE, broad commercial experience gained in both in-house and private practice, ideally with exposure to consumer products, manufacturing, or distribution. You will enjoy operating in a fast-paced, purpose-led environment, where collaboration, innovation, and integrity are central to the culture.
