The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Architect to join our Technology team and play a pivotal role in shaping the strategic direction of our technology landscape. As part of our Technology Operating Model transformation, this role will contribute to uplifting architecture practice maturity and guiding effective execution of technology investments across our Australian business.

Reporting to the Enterprise Architecture Manager, you will work closely with senior stakeholders across our business to ensure alignment between business strategy and technology capabilities, this role is a Permanent role and can be based in our Mascot or Port Kembla offices in NSW, or our Mount Waverley office in VIC.

What Will You Do?

The Enterprise Architects in our team guide the development of strategic roadmaps with our business and provide leadership and governance to major projects. Utilizing your broad experience across Business and Technology, you will ensure alignment to strategic needs whilst determining the suitability of solution designs and outcomes against specific initiatives and requirements.  This will be achieved by::

• Leading domain-based Unification Strategies to drive common platforms across our business
• Supporting our Business in maintaining Strategic Roadmaps that are aligned to Business Capabilities, Architectural Principles and Strategic Objectives.
• Working with stakeholders and heads of IT to develop robust, scalable templates for solution governance and delivery of technology and digital initiatives.
• Providing support and guidance to Solution Architects executing major programs of work. This will include provision of principles, artefact templates, as well as direct involvement in Implementation Governance and Architectural Change Management
• Reviewing, interpreting, and responding to business requirements and specifications to ensure alignment between business expectations and current or future Business and/or IT capability.
• Aiding in the development of ASP Business and IT Strategy leveraging knowledge in emerging technology and trends.

Industry experience would be highly valued. However, we have strong internal networks to support your learning.  It's your Business partnering and Enterprise Architecture experience that we value most. We are looking for a team player with: -

• Experience in Strategy and Roadmap development.
• Experience in Customer, Manufacturing or Supply Chain platform architecture.
• Skilled at storytelling and bringing concepts to life. Both visually and in written form. 
• Demonstrated experience in Senior Architecture roles.
• Ability to facilitate engagements at varied organisational and technical levels.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
• Architecture and Technology evaluations and Options Assessment
• Knowledge of ITIL and TOGAF frameworks and project management methodologies
• Domain experience in delivery of Application, Information, Integration, Process, Security and Technology Architecture artefacts
