About the role
We have an opportunity for a Lead Enterprise Architect to be part of our Enterprise Architecture & Strategy, Technology & Communication Services Command. The role provides strategic direction and guidance for the development and implementation of NSWPF enterprise architecture. The role involves defining and maintaining the architectural vision, driving architectural decisions, promoting best practices and overseeing the architecture team.
We are seeking a Lead Enterprise Architect, and prior experience in a similar Enterprise Architect position is highly desirable.

Target Question 1:
Describe a time when you developed and executed an enterprise architecture strategy that aligned with both business transformation goals and technology modernisation (e.g., Legacy Application Modernisation, cloud adoption, data platforms, AI enablement)? What frameworks, governance models, and stakeholder engagement approaches did you use to ensure successful delivery?
Target Question 2:
Provide details of recent experience in delivery of Business Capability Model, Technical Reference Model, Application Reference Model. If you worked on refreshing the existing models what was your approach, the tools used and the duration of the assignment. Please provide actual experience including challenges in the delivery of this work in your organisation.
Target Question 3:
Provide details of any recent architectural approaches/decisions you have taken in a multi-cloud environment (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) to balance interoperability, cost optimisation, and security? Please include examples of reference architectures, tooling and how you influenced enterprise-wide standards.
