About Us

Established in 2007, CDC Data Centres is Australia’s leading operator of sovereign, secure, world-class data centre facilities.

Headquartered in Canberra, with campuses across the ACT, NSW, VIC and New Zealand, CDC delivers highly secure, scalable, and interconnected data centre environments that support co-location, containerised, and hyperscale compute workloads. Our facilities are designed to meet the evolving needs of our customers—providing the digital infrastructure that powers Australia’s future.

About the Role

We are seeking a strategic and forward-thinking Enterprise Architect to play a key role in shaping CDC’s enterprise architecture across a range of high-impact initiatives—including our Finance Transformation Program and other critical business and technology projects. This is a rare opportunity to shape the future of CDC’s enterprise architecture and contribute to the design of scalable, secure, and innovative solutions that support our long-term growth.

As a strategic partner and internal consultant, you will collaborate across business units to integrate people, processes, data, and technology. You will lead the development of architectural frameworks that enable automation, optimisation, and agility—ensuring CDC’s technology landscape remains future-ready and aligned with our business strategy.

This role offers a unique blend of strategic influence and hands-on solution design, with direct accountability for enabling transformation outcomes and delivering measurable business value.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the architecture workstream within the Finance Transformation Program.
- Define and evolve CDC’s enterprise architecture to support scalability, cost efficiency, and operational excellence.
- Lead architectural decisions that drive automation, optimisation, and data integration.
- Translate corporate strategy into actionable architecture roadmaps and future-state designs.
- Provide hands-on leadership in the design of complex, integrated solutions across platforms and infrastructure.
- Evaluate and select technology solutions aligned with strategic goals.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to improve operational efficiency and customer experience.
- Ensure compliance with CDC’s governance and regulatory frameworks.

About You

- 10+ years’ experience in enterprise or solution architecture roles, with a proven track record of delivering complex, multi-domain solutions.
- Strong technical foundation in software development, systems integration, and enterprise platforms.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams and working with internal and external stakeholders.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to translate business needs into technology outcomes.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- A collaborative, resilient, and adaptable approach to transformation delivery.

Essential Requirements

Australian Citizenship and eligibility for AGSVA Security Clearance (Negative Vetting Level 1).

How to Apply

If you are excited by the opportunity to shape the future of CDC’s enterprise architecture and contribute to one of our most important transformation programs, we would love to hear from you. Please submit your resume and cover letter by clicking here.

At CDC, we are committed to building a workplace where everyone feels respected, valued, and supported. We believe that diverse perspectives and experiences help us innovate and grow.
