Wesley College Melbourne, a school of the Uniting Church, established in 1866, is one of Australia's leading and most respected co-educational independent schools. With an enrolment of 3,400 students from ECLC to Year 12, it comprises three metropolitan campuses in Melbourne, at St Kilda Road, Glen Waverley and Elsternwick, outdoor education sites at Chum Creek, Mallana and Lochend, and a Year 9 residential campus at Clunes.
Applications are invited from innovative and engaging leaders for the position of Head of Individual Needs (ECLC - Year 6) based at the St Kilda Road Junior School campus. This is a full-time position commencing in Term and is for an initial 3-year term with an ongoing teaching role. It includes Individual Needs teaching (0.68 FTE), and a position of responsibility as Head of Individual Needs (0.32 FTE).
The Head of Individual Needs is responsible for the management, administration and development of Individual Needs programs for students in Prep to Year 6 in the areas of: student support, integration and access. This development should occur so that the goals inherent in the College's Vision and Values statements, particularly those relating to the attainment of excellence by all students, are achieved.
