Financial Services partner with all areas of CommBank to provide specialist advice on financial management and strategy. This advice covers finance, audit, treasury, investor relations, security, general procurement, and property.

IB&M Finance supports the IB&M businesses in providing financial control, financial analysis, product control, regulatory accounting, and related project implementation for finance related functions.

IB&M International Reporting Squad is focused on the development of a new Strategic Database to undertake International Reporting Requirements across IB&M offshore jurisdictions.

Do work that matters:

Reporting to the Executive Advisor, IB&M Finance, you will be delivering a strategic and scalable solution to meet current and future international reporting requirements.

CBA has a clear, documented understanding of international regulatory reporting obligations across jurisdictions.

The new technology platform is flexible and resilient, capable of adapting to evolving compliance standards, product structures, business processes, and system landscapes.

You will investigate and resolve issues identified in the regulatory reporting process, making prioritisation decisions and negotiating outcomes alongside other deliverables such as business initiatives and new compliance requirements.

Key responsibilities include:

• Lead a newly established team of business analysts, providing ongoing coaching, development, and performance management.

• Collaborate with the International Regulatory Reporting team to drive and execute the implementation of global regulatory reporting requirements for CBA.

• Understand international regulatory reporting obligations and translate them into effective reporting engines and processes.

• Manage stakeholder relationships across Business, Technology, Finance, and Treasury to deliver the international reporting backlog.

• Partner with business units and downstream reporting teams to ensure accurate and timely delivery of international regulatory reports.

• Lead ongoing communications with internal governance committees and associated working groups regarding changes to data sourcing, infrastructure, and reporting frameworks.

• Manage the control frameworks over the regulatory reporting change processes including documentation and governance processes.

• Strong understanding of data, particularly for finance, capital, and risk reporting; regulatory reporting experience is preferred.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Strong project management, negotiation, and influencing capabilities.

• Problem-solving mindset with a focus on automation and continuous process improvement.
