We are seeking a senior Outsystems developer to undertake enhancements of its existing Online Probate application. The Online Probate enhancements project will be managed by the Courts, Tribunal Service Delivery (CTSD) Division through its Digital Portfolio Team (DPT).

About the role

As a Full Stack developer, you will be involved in design, development, testing (unit and automation), implementation and maintenance of software solutions. This role is focused further digitising the Online Probate application. You will be hands-on and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including BAU team and Product Team to drive the development and enhancement of the project. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about technology, has strong analytical and communication skills, and is eager to transform, modernise and future proof the application.

Responsibilities

  • Designing and developing robust, scalable, and secure applications.
  • Responsible for all stages of the software development process to ensure compliance with application development standards and achievement of documented requirements.
  • Develop solution features following OutSystems development best practices, ensuring solution performance and users adoption.
  • Building scalable, high-quality code using established practices
  • Building responsive and accessible user interfaces
  • Contributing to the continuous process improvements in the development space
  • Conduct code reviews, performance optimisations, and troubleshooting to maintain high-quality software solutions. Participating in and technical documentation.
  • Work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team, managing multiple priorities within tight time frames.

Skills and experiences

  • Over 5 years of experience in full-stack development with exposure to a modern web framework such as React / Angular / Vue
  • Experience in software development and delivery using OutSystems Platform.
  • Experience in Agile application development methodology
  • Experience with Jira and Confluence technologies
  • Experience with OutSystems Lifetime and other relevant tools (e.g., Version Control Systems, CI/CD tools).
  • Experience in integrations with Mulesoft, REST-based services
  • Experience with SQL databases like Oracle or MySQL or MSSQL, database modelling.
  • Solid understanding of web development best practices
  • Good communication skills with the ability to interpret business requirements and technical concepts.
