This role is ideal for someone who wants to work closely with small to medium-sized businesses and gain hands-on experience across a range of industries.
Responsibilities

Prepare and assist in the review of income tax returns for clients
Prepare BAS, IAS, and FBT returns
Assist in tax planning and client advisory services
Work closely with senior accountants and managers to develop client strategies
Communicate with the ATO and other regulatory bodies on behalf of clients
Maintain accurate records and ensure timely lodgement of all compliance obligations
Contribute to a supportive, team-based culture and continuous improvement initiatives

Qualifications

A degree in Accounting or Finance is essential
Up to 3 years experience is highly desired
Working toward or undertaken CA or CPA qualification
Familiar with Xero, MYOB, or similar accounting software
Strong attention to detail, time management, and communication skills
A proactive and client-first mindset
