Tax Accountant role at NPAworldwide

Our client is a forward-thinking advisory firm dedicated to helping businesses grow through smart financial strategy, compliance, and innovation. They provide personalised accounting, tax, and consulting services to a diverse portfolio of clients across various industries. They are looking for a Tax Accountant who is eager to learn, grow, and make a difference. If you have up to 3 years of experience and a strong interest in tax and business services, we would love to hear from you. This role is ideal for someone who wants to work closely with small to medium-sized businesses and gain hands-on experience across a range of industries.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and assist in the review of income tax returns for clients
  • Prepare BAS, IAS, and FBT returns
  • Assist in tax planning and client advisory services
  • Work closely with senior accountants and managers to develop client strategies
  • Communicate with the ATO and other regulatory bodies on behalf of clients
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure timely lodgement of all compliance obligations
  • Contribute to a supportive, team-based culture and continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
  • A degree in Accounting or Finance is essential
  • Up to 3 years experience is highly desired
  • Working toward or undertaken CA or CPA qualification
  • Familiar with Xero, MYOB, or similar accounting software
  • Strong attention to detail, time management, and communication skills
  • A proactive and client-first mindset

Salary Type: Annual Salary

Salary Min: A$75,000

Salary Max: A$100,000
