Job Description

The Enterprise Technology & Software Engineering team connect and build the technology tools that help our group work smarter, faster, and more efficiently.

We achieve this by focusing on the configuration, development and continuous improvement of our Enterprise Technology platforms, our approach is seamless and iterative, prioritising agility and adaptability. By integrating modern engineering approaches and fostering a culture of constant innovation, we ensure that our core building blocks not only support current needs but also scale effortlessly for future growth. In the Systems Analyst role, you'll be responsible for managing and implementing software/hardware applications supporting the Ampol Lytton Refinery.

The Systems Analyst Manufacturing will support ongoing development and improvement of the I.T. systems and applications at the refinery, working with the business stakeholders to deliver new initiatives to the site and improvements as well as provide assistance and solutions with business problems within the Ampol organisation. This role will support business initiatives, including, but not limited to improved/automated processing of work carried out at the Lytton Refinery.

This role is based in Brisbane, Queensland and requires being onsite at the refinery 3 days a week.

About the role:

  • Build strong and trusted relationships with business stakeholders at the refinery, and play a key role within the onsite technology team.
  • Work with Project teams to deliver new functionality and upgrades to the refinery manufacturing systems.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders in the business and the TDD teams
  • Anticipate, identify and address issues and potential problems and select the most effective solutions from a range of options

Qualifications

Key Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in HCL Notes, business application support, and project management.
  • Strong knowledge across development, infrastructure, and change management lifecycles.
  • Skilled in business analysis, stakeholder engagement, and aligning IT solutions with evolving business needs.
  • Proficient in integration platforms, ITIL processes, and operational methodologies to ensure effective service delivery.
  • Strong organisational and prioritisation skills, with a flexible approach to meeting and exceeding customer expectations.
