Are you an experienced Project Manager ready to take the next step into a senior leadership role?

Our client is a hydraulic services contractor delivering complex projects across health, transport, data centre, and commercial sectors.

This is a great opportunity for a hands-on, licensed plumber with proven project management experience to lead high-value hydraulic packages valued between $10M and $30M, with a clear pathway into Construction or Operations Management.

The Role

  • Manage hydraulic packages on large-scale projects including hospitals, metro stations, and data centres.
  • Oversee site labour, subcontractors, and daily project delivery to ensure safety, quality, and timelines are met.
  • Handle project financials including claims, variations, forecasting, and progress reporting.
  • Coordinate procurement and ordering of materials in line with project schedules.
  • Report upstream to senior management on project performance and deliverables.
  • Work closely with design teams, consultants, and clients to deliver innovative hydraulic solutions.

About You

  • Licensed Plumber with 5–10 years' experience in commercial/industrial hydraulic systems.
  • Proven experience managing $10M–$30M hydraulic or building services projects.
  • Strong understanding of design, installation, and commissioning phases.
  • Proficient in Aconex, Procore, and other construction management software.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills — able to motivate teams and build solid relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Ambitious and ready to step into a broader Construction or Operations Management role.
