The
Media Manager
is a subject matter expert in media, responsible for the media planning and implementation of paid media buys through our external media agency and internal trading desk. This role covers integrated media plans across all media channels, including Television, Outdoor, Radio, Print, Cinema and Digital.

The Media Manager ensures that all briefs are tight for agencies and internal teams to be able to deliver to and acts as a subject matter expert to evaluate these responses to develop the most effective go to market campaigns for Qantas. This role straddles strategy to execution, working together with the internal Marketing teams, media agencies and Analytics team to deliver best practice media campaigns, with a continuous focus on optimising both audience and channel performance. alignment with the Group marketing strategy and centralised resources.

You'll have –

  • 5+ years marketing experience in media/ advertising, including digital
  • Tertiary degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field
  • Experience in cross channel media implementation to meet business targets
  • Digital campaign execution experience
  • Results orientated, with a strong understanding of setting metrics, performance reporting and analysis techniques
  • Negotiation and influencing skills to effectively manage stakeholders and external partners
  • Strong attention to detail and a passion for delivering superior customer experiences through paid media.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and work collaboratively with cross functional teams.
  • Innovative mindset and experience implementing new technologies or media channels.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, problem solving and time management skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure, prioritise tasks & meet deadlines.
  • Takes ownership of, and personal accountability for decisions and actions.
