You'll be responsible for overseeing the full project lifecycle-from planning and execution to final handover-while mentoring Project Managers and site crews. Your leadership will be critical in aligning on-site operations with broader business objectives and maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality.

About you:

  • You will have a minimum of 8 years experience in civil and/or general construction project delivery.
  • You will hold a Bachelors degree in construction management, civil engineering or similar.
  • Experience working with TasWater/CDO, TasRail, TasPorts would be an advantage.

About the role:

  • Supervise and mentor a team of nominally 3 to 5 Project Managers, ensuring high performance, accountability, and continuous development.
  • Ensure all site activities are compliant with relevant legislation, regulations, building codes, and safety standards. Attention to detail, ensuring actions are promptly resolved.
  • Assist in tenders and bids, monitor all financial aspects and commercial performance of projects.
