Job Overview

This role provides an exciting chance to develop practical skills and gain hands-on experience in various construction and maintenance activities. You will be responsible for assisting with civil construction and maintenance works, reading and interpreting plans and job specifications, measuring and calculating materials, operating small plant and power tools, and supporting traffic management and risk management activities.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work as part of a team
  • Willingness to take instruction, work under supervision, and undertake formal training
  • Sound literacy and numeracy skills to support your Certificate III studies
  • A keen interest and demonstrated ability to work with tools, plant, and equipment
