Summary

Support teachers in delivering powerful strategies that supercharge student learning and success in every subject

• Work hours: 20.00 hours per week
• Salary: $67,755 - $70,630 + super (School Salary Scale) (Term time - school holidays unpaid)

About the opportunity

In this position you will be responsible for supporting the Food Technology and Art Departements by:

• Provide administrative support for staff
• In consultation with teaching staff, order, receive and store stock appropriately (ehecking goods recieved/receipt against items on invoice)
• Lesson preparation - prepare ingredients/equipment for lessons
• Cleaning and sanitation of surfaces and equipment
• Set up and pack down of equipment and laundry
• Assisting with practical lessons
• Providing support with safety check lists

About you

To be successful in this position you will bring relevant contemporary skills and experience including:

• Strong skills in planning, preparing, and delivering effective teaching programs
• Ability to monitor student progress and apply evidence-based interventions
• Expertise in supporting diverse learning needs to improve student outcomes
• Collaborative skills to work with specialists and coordinate intervention groups
• Proficient in documenting observations, managing intervention programs, and preparing classroom materials
• Certificate III in Education Support
• For this position you are not required to be Catholic.

Eligibility and Safeguarding requirements:

• Eligibility to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment
• Hold a Paid Employee Positive Notice Blue Card prior to commencement.
