Perth, Western Australia Environmental Industries Full time $60,000 - $80,000 per year

Environmental Industries is a leading Construction, Commercial Landscaping and Grounds Maintenance company, providing services throughout Western Australia. The group has been operating for over 40 years where it has experienced significant growth on the back of successfully delivering an impressive portfolio of Western Australia's largest, complex and award-winning projects. The team at Environmental Industries is a dynamic group of individuals who are passionate about delivering inspiring spaces for the Western Australian community.

Environmental Industries is seeking two skilled and experienced Landscape Gardeners to work within our maintenance division out at our Newman base of operations. The successful candidates will work a FIFO (ex Perth) roster of 2 weeks on 1 week off. You will be self-motivated to get the job done and achieve a high standard of quality workmanship. You will be fully supported through daily contact with the Area Manager.

The Position

Key Duties will include:

  • Gardening and general grounds keeping
  • Repairing irrigation
  • Mowing and edging
  • Wedding, raking, mulching and pruning
  • Planting grass, shrubs, and bushes
  • Rubbish, general maintenance and cleaning
  • Applying pesticides and fertilizer
  • Other duties as required

Skills and Experience

  • Several years' experience in a similar role
  • Irrigation experience
  • Ability to work autonomously
  • Excellent communication skills

Tickets, Licenses and Qualifications

  • Cert III Horticulture - high regarded but not essential
  • Driver's License - current, essential
  • Pest Management (Spray) Ticket – current, essential
  • National Police Clearance (less than 6-month-old at own cost. Please note that people with criminal records are not automatically barred from applying for this position. Each application will be considered on its merits and the position requirements.)
  • White/Blue Card - essential
