Lead and manage all phases of mechanical projects—primarily the Sydney Water Northhead project—from sales handover through execution to final deliverables. Drive project success by coordinating schedules, monitoring progress across manufacturing, purchasing, and documentation, and ensuring completion within contractual scope.
This is an initial 12-month contract, 3 days per week

Key Responsibilities:
- Safety First: Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviors in support of our drive towards developing a world class safety culture.
- Ensure consistent project status reporting and effective tracking, including escalation of issues and constraints.
- Manage variation processes and communicate impacts to internal and external stakeholders.
- Provide customer support during order execution and verify deliverables as per contractual scope.
- Facilitate timely fulfillment of contract requirements across functional departments.
- Optimize working capital through timely invoicing per contractual terms.
- Manage contract processes to minimize risk of liquidated damages.
- Ensure on-time delivery of equipment within budget.
- Regularly update and maintain accurate project schedules.
- Maintain professional relationships with customers and ensure clear communication.
Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:
- Experience leading and managing projects within a heavy engineering environment, ensuring compliance with industry standards and contractual obligations.
- Knowledge with overseeing contract and project management activities for capital equipment manufacturing projects, including planning, execution and delivery.
- Ability to Interpret engineering concepts and technical product requirements to support project execution and stakeholder communication.
- Experience using SAP for project tracking, procurement, and reporting, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all related processes (desirable)
- Previous experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to maintain timelines, budgets, and quality standards throughout the project lifecycle
