Our 3rd generation family business has a long history of supplying quality, healthy and delicious food products all around Australia. We are in an exciting phase of growth and are looking for a dynamic, creative Sales & Marketing Leader with proven, hands-on experience in growing retail grocery brands, to lead our Retail Brands sales division.

About the Role

Reporting to the National Business Manager, with a dotted line to the Chief Customer Officer, this is a hands-on role responsible for executing and shaping our Retail Brand strategy across both the Sales and Marketing functions. You'll lead a small, capable team focused on building customer relationships, growing market share, and elevating our retail brands presence, specifically in the independent grocery sector and with large MSO groups.

Key Responsibilities

  • Retail Brand division revenue and margin growth.

  • Lead, direct, support and develop the Sales Team.

  • Executing the brand strategy and initiatives for growth including sales plans and tactics and marketing initiatives across product, promotion, distribution and price.

  • Drive strategic relationships with key retail customers and accounts.

  • Continuous development of brand range and product development, including forecasting and inventory controls.

  • Drive excellence in execution — from customer engagement to campaign performance.

About You

You're an energetic, problem solver who clearly understands the food grocery sector and ideally has relationships within large MSO groups and the independent grocery sector. Additionally, you thrive on action - you're a collaborator, a team player who just knows how to make things happen.

Ideally you will also possess hands-on experience turning around and driving the performance of retail grocery brands before, with a strong knowledge of both the Sales and Marketing disciplines.
