Reporting to the Treasurer of Risk Management, the
Junior Associate Treasury Dealer
will be responsible for advising `management on the Group's short-term liquidity requirements to support effective business planning and strategy with a primary focus on cash management.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement Australian dollar denominated cash investment strategies
- Partner with the business to forecast and model cash for the Group
- Monitor and provide insights on a broad range of financial markets
- Variance modelling and analysis
- Preparing and presenting management reports
- Demonstrated ability to support the month end process where necessary
About You
- Degree in accounting, finance, economics or other relevant discipline
- Interest in financial markets; hedging transactions; accounting for financial instruments; and Treasury policies, systems & procedures
- Well-developed written and verbal communication and presentation skills
- Comfortable with excel spreadsheets
- Ability to think logically and holistically in bringing many different pieces of information and applying them into an overall review and strategy.
