Lead hybrid and battery projects driving NSW's clean energy future

This is your opportunity to join an entrepreneurial renewable energy IPP with strong financial backing, a collaborative and high-performing team culture, and an exciting pipeline of projects targeting financial close within the next 18 months.

As Senior Development Manager, you'll take ownership of two significant early-stage projects in NSW - a large hybrid (solar + BESS) and a standalone BESS (with a separate DA).

You'll lead all key development activities including:

  • Building trusted relationships with local councils, communities, and landholders
  • Negotiating land agreements through to final execution
  • Managing environmental consultants to deliver initial assessments and approvals
  • Supporting the broader team through commercial processes such as the Capacity Investment Scheme (CIS)

You'll bring:

  • Experience leading complex renewable energy projects through development stages
  • Strong understanding of NSW planning frameworks and timelines (and a network within key departments)
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement skills with a focus on genuine, two-way consultation
  • Commercial acumen to negotiate land and neighbour agreements (supported by legal counsel)
