The Role:
As a Specification Manager, you will be instrumental in driving the adoption of our building products through precise specification processes. Your primary focus will be collaborating with interior designers, architects, specifiers, and developers to ensure our products are specified from the initial design phase to delivery on multi-res, hospo, education, health and commercial projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with architects, designers, and other key stakeholders to promote the specification of our technical building products.
- Provide detailed technical advice and support, ensuring compliance with Australian building codes and standards.
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to enhance product visibility and preference among specifiers.
- Monitor industry trends and regulatory changes to align our specification strategies with market demands.
- Deliver presentations and training sessions to educate clients and partners about our products and their applications.
- Oversee the entire specification process to ensure successful product integration into projects.
About You:
- Proven experience in technical sales or specification roles within the construction industry, interior products such as kitchen, solid surfaces, bathroom, tapware, architectural hardware, glazing, flooring, furniture ect would be highly advantageous, but we would consider all products
- Strong knowledge of the architectural and construction processes with a specific focus on technical building products
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, adept at building and nurturing professional relationships.
- Detailed understanding of Australian building codes and standards.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to drive product adoption through effective specification
