We're looking for an experienced administrator to support our Brisbane office, working within Macmahon's Surface Mining Australia team. You'll bring warmth, professionalism and a genuine sense of care to every interaction - whether greeting visitors, supporting colleagues or assisting clients. Working closely with the Office Manager, you'll be the friendly face that sets the tone for a welcoming and supportive workplace. Your approachable nature and commitment to helping others will ensure every first impression is a positive one.
About the Role
- Be the welcoming first point of contact and go-to person at our Brisbane office
- Support a safe and secure workplace by managing building access, maintenance, fire warden and first aid coordination
- Provide essential support to ensure smooth office operations including contractor engagement, annual servicing, office supplies, PPE and merchandise
- Support the Brisbane team with travel bookings, credit card reconciliation, meeting and event coordination
- Assist with site admin and finance activities such as purchase requisitions, receipting, payments and liaising with accounts
- Navigate a range of systems including Microsoft Office, SharePoint, SAP, SpendConsole, CTM etc. and internal platforms to complete daily tasks
About You
To succeed in this role, you'll bring:
- Demonstrated experience in reception or administrative support, ideally within a corporate or professional setting
- Confidence using Microsoft Office tools, including Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, and Planner
- A keen eye for detail and a commitment to responsibility and accuracy in your work
- Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and follow established processes
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and professional approach
