About the Company & Role

Join a family-owned custom home builder that has been delivering quality homes for over 13 years. With a growing team approaching 40 staff, this is a business that continues to expand and invest in its people.

Specialising in homes priced between $300k and $3.5M, including NDIS housing projects, this builder delivers a wide variety of projects ranging from standard project homes to fully custom builds.

They are now seeking a motivated Production Estimator to join their Prestons head office. You'll play a key role in preparing accurate costings, working closely with operations, and ensuring projects progress seamlessly through pre-construction.

This role is open to estimators with 2 to 10 years' experience, ideally with exposure to both custom homes and project homes. Whether you're building on early experience or bringing senior-level expertise, this is a great opportunity to grow within a supportive team.

Requirements

  • 2-10 years' experience in production estimating within the home building industry

  • Experience working across both custom homes and project homes

  • Exposure to pricing homes from $300k to $3.5M, including NDIS housing

  • Proficiency in Client Manager (intermediate to advanced highly regarded, training available)

  • Good knowledge of Excel and workflow systems (Planswift, Onsite Companion advantageous)

  • Strong organisational and time management skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Knowledge of residential design codes, building codes, and Australian Standards

  • Ability to work independently while being a strong team player

  • Deadline-driven, solution-focused, and committed to fostering a positive culture

Salary

$90,000 - $120,000 + Super (depending on experience).
