Aroma Eatery & Coffee House is located at Eastwood Village Shopping Centre and has become a beloved local hangout, offering a space designed for comfort and enjoyment. Since opening the doors in 2019, Aroma has been serving up delicious food and friendly service to the Eastwood community and beyond.

Sir Goku Pty Ltd is well known and respected in Bairnsdale's hospitality scene. Our venues are always busy week in and week out, all year round. We are well established, offering enviable job security. An opportunity exists for an energetic, passionate & knowledgable chef to join our dedicated team on a full time basis (38+ hours per week).

About the role Applicants must be creative, passionate, have a strong work ethic, and be up to date with industry trends.

This exciting position would be suitable to an experienced Chef who enjoys a fast paced environment, works well as part of a team and has the ability to ensure excellent service and quality standards, you will be required to work between both venues as required.

The benefit of this position are the flexible working arrangements, long term job security within very well regarded venues. Hours will be managed through a rotating roster that will include mornings, day times with limited evening shifts but you must be willing to work weekends on a rotating roster.

About you

  • At least 2 years' experience as a qualified Chef
  • Experience within an high volume kitchen environment
  • A demonstrated ability to work at a fast pace
  • Excellent communication and time management
  • Competency with all Food Safety and Hygiene standards
  • Skills across all kitchen sections
  • Availability to work a variety of hours
  • You must have full Australian working rights with no restrictions

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
