About the opportunity

Specialist Gynaecology Clinics at Mercy Hospital for Women provide a wide range of services to patients requiring gynaecological care across urogynaecology, endosurgery and gynae-oncology.  Services include but are not limited to urodynamics, bladder treatments including Botox and DSMO and other minor procedures including colposcopy and hysteroscopy. 

  • Join a small supportive dynamic team of nurses in Specialist Gynaecology Clinics.

  • Provide timely and effective support to patients undergoing day procedures and treatments including, but not limited to urodynamics, cystoscopy, DMSO, Botox, hysteroscopy, insertion/removal of IUD, colposcopy.

To thrive in this role, you will have:

  • Registration with AHPRA – Registered Nurse Division 1

  • High level of interpersonal and communication skills (written, verbal and IT) – strong requirement to communicate effectively with patients post operatively and action concerns.

  • Previous experience in ambulatory clinic/ urogynae / continence desirable

  • Previous experience in urodynamics highly desirable

  • Excellent time management skills

  • Demonstrated understanding of person-centred care and ability to work in a team environment

You will also be required to provide evidence of, or in the process of obtaining:

  • A current Police Record Check and Working with Children Check.

  • Proof of current influenza vaccination and other vaccination status consistent with public health orders.
