 About the Opportunity  

You will be joining a supportive team to deliver an exceptional guest experience for our residents and guests at our Village based in Karratha. Permanent full-time positions are available on a 14:7 roster with a 10 hour day (two weeks living on site and one week at home for what matters most). FIFO available from Perth, or Drive in, Drive out from your home to Karratha.

This is a hands on Supervisor role, responsible for overseeing the facilities team in delivering high quality and well maintained facilities, including grounds, non-technical maintenance and repairs, and disposal of waste.

  • Salary ranging from $80,000 – $90, % Superannuation (paid on all rostered hours) + penalties and allowances
  • $7k annual incentive bonus for all local candidates who Drive in, Drive out (paid quarterly – no flights included)
  • FIFO included for all Perth based candidates (not eligible for incentive bonus)

About You  

  • Experience supervising a team, preferably in a remote environment
  • Experience working in high volume, fast paced environments, ideally working outdoors
  • Current LF Forklift License and experience 
  • Excited to work on 14:7 roster (2 weeks on, one week off)
  • A valid Drivers license 
  • Unlimited working rights within Australia (ideally for 12 months or more. Sponsorship NOT available at this time)
  • Flexibility to work across day / night shift when required

Responsibilities

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

People
  • To act as a working supervisor, leading a team of Facilities Attendants, scheduling and allocating work, and supervising their work on a daily basis.
  • To be clear about annual personal and company objectives and to take part in regular appraisal processes to assess performance and provide feedback to management.
  • To undertake technical and other training as required, and to attend periodic team and individual meetings as required.
  • To facilitate a team environment and foster a culture of service excellence.
  • To deputise for the Facilities Manager in their absence, in Villages that have a dedicated Facilities Manager.
  • To always apply safe work practices to contribute to the safety culture at Civeo.


Customers
  • To deliver excellent facilities services to the Management team, in a timely manner, consistent with all relevant quality standards and service level agreements, with the minimum of disruption to guests, customers and colleagues.
  • To facilitate and maintain a safe environment for our customers.


Process
  • To undertake non-technical general repairs and maintenance of site grounds, facilities and buildings.
  • To carry out gardening duties.
  • To ensure regular collection and maintenance of waste throughout site.
  • To keep all work areas, storage areas, workshops, tools and vehicles in a tidy, safe and professional condition.
  • To ensure all health, safety, quality and environmental standards are strictly met, ensuring a safe environment for employees, customers, contractors and visitors, and promptly reporting any issues, potential issues or near misses.
  • To follow Standard Operating Procedures in all relevant areas of Facilities services and to contribute ideas for improving processes and procedures.
  • To process all maintenance requests through Civeo property maintenance management system.
  • To take part in Project Working Groups as required.
  • To use Microsoft Office and other IT systems as necessary.


Finance
  • To ensure all financial policies, procedures and processes are strictly implemented and adhered to, ensuring the highest standards of ethics and financial propriety, taking immediate action if any non-compliance is discovered.
  • To facilitate random and programmed audits of Facilities Services.


Other

Any other required duties appropriate to the scope, nature and seniority of the role.

Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills and Experience







Professional Qualifications
  • LF Forklift licence
  • Manual Drivers licence, Class C.


Experience
  • At least two year's work experience in a maintenance or trades assistant role, preferably in the hospitality industry.
  • A minimum of six months experience of supervising a team. 
  • Knowledge of equipment and materials routinely used in Facilities Operations (e.g. ride on mower, push mower, whipper snipper, blower, high pressure hose, small parts).
