Roof Plumber – All-Round A-Grade Roofer

Ocean Blue Metal Roofing is a family-owned, award-winning company servicing the Northern Rivers & Southern Gold Coast.

We cover all aspects of metal roofing – from leak repairs for real estate and strata clients, to full reroofs and new builds – and we need a high-calibre Roof Plumber who's ready to take ownership of quality work.

About the Role

You'll be our go-to roofer, responsible for:

  • Installing and finishing metal roofs, gutters, flashings, downpipes and fascia to a high standard.
  • Handling real estate, strata, and insurance maintenance – leak detection, repairs, and small reroofs.
  • Leading or mentoring a small team on larger installs from new builds to roof replacements.
  • Managing jobs from inspection to completion (with admin support for quoting & materials).

Most of your work will be new builds and reroofs, with variety from real estate and maintenance jobs — and as we expand, we'll steer your role towards the projects you enjoy most.


Who We're Looking For

We're after an all-round A-grade Roof Plumber who brings skill, pride, and a great attitude.

You'll tick most (or all) of these boxes:

  • Trade-qualified Roof Plumber (Cert III or equivalent).
  • Solid experience across reroofs, new builds, and maintenance work.
  • Pride in neat, precise, and tidy workmanship.
  • Efficient and well-organised, with confidence managing timeframes.
  • Comfortable using technology and job-management tools to improve efficiency.
  • Commitment to safe work practices.
  • Customer-focused, with clear, professional communication skills.
  • Current driver's licence and White Card.
  • (Working at Heights / EWP tickets a bonus — or willing to obtain.)
