Lead a 40-person production team in a modern, paperless manufacturing facility. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you'll drive daily execution, quality, and continuous improvement so our customers get outstanding products—on time, every time.

What you'll do

  • Own day-to-day plant operations: production scheduling, inventory control, QA.
  • Coach, develop and performance-manage a 40-person team (hiring, onboarding, skills growth).
  • Embed
    Lean / 2 Second Lean
    routines and CI projects to lift throughput, reduce waste, and improve flow.
  • Partner with Procurement and Engineering to de-bottleneck and keep materials and jobs moving.
  • Analyse production data, build reports/dashboards, and act on trends to improve OTIF and first-time-right.
  • Ensure WHS and environmental compliance across processes, people, and equipment.

About you

  • Proven Manufacturing Manager (or similar) in a fast-paced make-to-order environment.
  • Strong technical understanding of manufacturing processes/equipment with practical troubleshooting.
  • Confident project manager who prioritises well and delivers under pressure.
  • Hands-on leader and culture-builder with a track record in
    Lean / CI
    .
  • Comfortable with IT/ERP and using data to drive decisions and shop-floor improvements.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Operations Management or related field (or equivalent experience).
