PRP is an engineering company located in Dudley Park, South Australia. Founded in 1991, PRP services manufacturers, engineering firms, and industries nationally by providing custom solutions using advanced CNC flatbed cutting (3-axis and 5-axis), in materials including rubber, sponge, foam, plastic, composites and aluminium. PRP has an exciting vision firmly rooted in advanced technology, and cultural values underpinned by creativity, learning, excellence, and commitment.

The role

Investing in our operations to drive long-term sustainability, PRP is currently looking for an enthusiastic individual who wants to develop his/her skills in CNC programming and manufacturing, whilst also driving a fundamental work ethic with respect to safety, quality and precision.

Reporting to the Production Manager,
this role can be either part-time, or casual,
depending on the applicant, and comprising of the following:

Key responsibilities

  • CNC programming and operation utilising flatbed CNC machinery (waterjet, laser, knife, router, die press)
  • Production fabrication and assembly
  • Understanding of PRP's production and work-order processes
  • Understanding the fundamentals of warehouse and inventory management
  • Contribution towards OH&S, quality, and lean/agile principles

Potential future pathways

  • Manufacturing and operations-related engineering
  • 2D/3D CAD design and prototyping

Bonus points

  • Experience in flatbed CNC cutting (waterjet, router, laser, knife)
