GREAT OPPORTUNITY: Adeona Coorparoo is currently seeking an innovative, passionate and enthusiastic  Lead Educator to join our team.  Successful candidates will join the dedicated team at our 'Happiness Centred Business' within a positive working environment. We have many long-term Educators at our centre which speaks to our positive team culture.

Adeona Coorparoo is an 81 place state of the art childcare centre. We pride ourselves on providing high-quality care for children in their early years. Our centre philosophy is that with happy staff we have happy children, which ensures that families who use our quality service are also happy. Adeona promotes relationship-based pedagogies and practices and focusses on creating respectful and secure relationships with children and their families. As a centre, we believe in providing a collaborative and autonomous working environment where our Educators feel supported and inspired within our visionary network of experienced Educators. We have a  supportive management team and offer a great working environment.

All applicants for the position will need to hold a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or equivalent . Applicants are required to have a good understanding of the principles and practices underpinning the Early Years Learning Framework. Successful applicants will work alongside our experienced Educators already established within the centre.

The objective of this position is to work well within the visionary team that already exists at Adeona, to create quality, happy and safe environments for the children and the families who attend our service.

  • Positive role modelling and behaviour management

  • Observing and recording children's learning
  • Implementing the Early Years Learning Framework
  • General cleaning duties
  • Ability to use initiative
  • Supervision of children at all times
